*Position Summary*

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the field of marketing at Ivey Business School, Western University starting from Summer/Fall 2024 or Spring 2025.

The successful candidate will work closely with Professors June Cotte and Zhe Zhang in the Marketing Area Group at Ivey. This postdoctoral fellow position prioritizes research, with no teaching or service commitment expected. The position will focus on research partnerships. The successful candidate will actively contribute to ongoing and new research projects, with expectations of also taking a leadership role in other independent research projects. The expectation is that this partnership will lead to scholarly publications in leading academic journals.

We seek individuals who aspire to develop research programs within the broad area of marketing communications and the social impacts of marketing. Potential topics include branding, consumer welfare, and/or socially and environmentally sustainable marketing.

*Requirements*

The position is contingent upon completion of your Ph.D. degree. We welcome candidates from marketing and related areas such as psychology, advertising, and communications. We are interested in individuals who value collegiality. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong expertise in multiple research methods, with the ability to collect and interpret empirical results and translate them into academic and practical insights.

*Funding and Proposed Annual Salary Range*
This will be a 12-month appointment with a possible extension of up to 12 additional months. Salary will range from $55,000 to $60,000, depending on qualification and final funding budgets.
