The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University seeks a tenure-track faculty, preferably at an Advanced Assistant Professor level, to begin as early as July 2024. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Marketing (or a closely related field) or those expecting to receive one by appointment date are eligible. The ideal candidate should have a strong research focus in areas like marketing strategy, digital marketing, sales & service management, and marketing frontlines. Candidates with demonstrable competence in digital marketing data analysis using computational, textual, and machine learning analytics are preferred. A focus on, and potential for, high-impact scholarly contributions is the primary consideration for this appointment.

Eligible candidates must have experience teaching marketing courses in one or more areas listed above at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, with preference for those who have taught or assisted in teaching marketing analytics courses. This position is located in the Department of Design & Innovation that brings together faculty from three disciplines including Marketing, Strategy, and Information Systems. A first of its kind, the focus of the department is creating new knowledge for innovative products, services, and systems, and designing value-creating business models that involve enduring relationships with customers, stakeholders, and society. The department excels in digital innovation, organizational frontlines, and product development, offering ample opportunities for cross-disciplinary research.
