Assistant Professor of Marketing, Tahlequah
Northeastern State University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the College of Business
and Technology.
Candidate must have an earned doctorate in Marketing with preferred experience in teaching in hybrid,
online, asynchronous or cohort learning environments. The right faculty will be able to teach any of the
Marketing courses at the undergraduate or graduate levels. In addition to teaching, this position
involves student recruitment. The right candidate will be active in connecting with industry. The person
will also be expected to find and meet with prospective students from high schools, community colleges,
returning students from industry and through social media.
While based on the Tahlequah campus, the faculty member may be assigned to teach classes and hold
meetings as needed on the Broken Arrow campus, on Zoom or online.

Responsibilities
Outstanding teaching and mentoring of students are required.
High quality research in peer-reviewed publications is required.
Service, interaction with local industry partners for internships and experiential learning are expected.
Experience
Earned Doctorate Degree in marketing required. Proven ability to produce scholarly work preferred.
