*ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLAR IN BEHAVIORAL MARKETING *
The Marketing Department at the Carlson School of Management anticipates hiring 1 postdoctoral fellow in the summer of 2024. Fellowships are expected to have a term of up to 2 years.
This position is aimed at attracting and developing talented social scientists seeking to make contributions to the behavioral aspects of marketing, including but not limited to: consumer behavior, consumer psychology, judgment and decision making, cognition, attitudes, emotion, morality, interpersonal relationships, and consumption broadly-defined.
Requirements: Potential applicants will be required to have obtained their PhD prior to being hired. Candidates also must have authorization to work in the U.S., and are expected to be in residence the entire time of the post-doctoral period.
Successful applicants will have a background in marketing, psychology, economics, decision making, or other fields related to behavioral marketing. The Marketing Department expects that successful applicants will have an established line of scholarly inquiry and be amenable to collaboration with Marketing Department faculty members.
In terms of duties, the post-doctoral fellow may be asked to help run the behavioral laboratory and participant pool. Teaching is neither required nor expected. The fellow’s main job is to concentrate on research. Access to the behavioral lab and research support will be available.
