Clinical Assistant Professor – Emphasis Digital Marketing

The Department of Marketing in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor, Full-Time, career-track position beginning August 2024.

Essential Functions:

Contribute to the school’s mission in the areas of teaching and service. Participate in teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and curriculum development related to general marketing, with an emphasis on digital marketing. Engage in service activities focused primarily on assisting with student organizations and other student engagement, Honors theses, and participating on department, W. P. Carey School of Business, and/or University committees.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1) A Ph.D. in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; 2) Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by   strong communication skills and/or strong teaching evaluations; 3) A record of scholarship as evidenced by an active learning agenda, works in progress and/or publications.

Desired Qualifications:

1) Excellence in teaching courses in marketing, especially those associated with digital marketing;  2) Teaching experience in a variety of platforms, including in-person, online, graduate and undergraduate levels; 3) Evidence of ability to innovate, work collaboratively to achieve goals, and engage in inclusive practices and 4) Ability to contribute in ways that align with the ASU Charter.
