The Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Marketing Department for the Sorrell College of Business is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position with a ten-month appointment to begin August 1, 2024.

This position is responsible for teaching general marketing courses such as principles of marketing, global marketing, promotion, consumer behavior, and other marketing courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. The selected candidate must have expertise in one or more of these areas.

Instruction may be provided face-to-face in Troy, online, at other Alabama sites, or at international sites.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, this individual must conduct academic research and maintain faculty qualifications in line with AACSB expectations; advise students; and provide service to the department, college, university, and community.

Minimum Qualifications

1. An earned Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing or related field from an AACSB accredited institution. ABD will be considered.

Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility
