Position Description

The Jindal School of Management seeks to fill a full-time non-tenure system faculty position (Assistant or Associate Professor of Instruction or Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice) in the marketing area. In addition to developing and teaching courses in areas related to professional sales and marketing in both undergraduate and graduate programs, the successful candidate will work with the Center for Professional Sales. We have specific interest in candidates who have an interest in CPG and other channel sales environments from a teaching and research perspective.

The appointment commences for the fall 2024 semester.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience: A PhD degree in an appropriate field and relevant business school teaching and sales experience. Applicants with a relevant master’s or other terminal degree and eight or more years of industry experience in managerial or leadership roles pertaining to professional sales will also be considered. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. We are seeking candidates able to produce research and scholarly or creative achievements that enhance the program and the discipline, and able to deliver high quality teaching using evidence-based practices to effectively engage students from a range of backgrounds and experiences.
