Candidates are sought for appointment in a non-tenure track role as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Robinson’s Department of Marketing and to serve as the department’s Associate Chair for Student Success and Partnerships (ACSS). The successful candidate will teach marketing courses, publish research, and oversee the department’s student success and college-to-career activities.

This person will work closely with the college’s Career Advancement Center, with other departmental faculty members interested in college-to-career, and with other colleagues in the college who are in similar roles overseeing student success and college-to-career activities. The ACSS will ensure marketing students connect with industry partners and alumni through curricular and co-curricular opportunities (e.g., schedule industry speakers and manage student involvement in case competitions, conferences, and events), internships, and full-time employment. The ACSS will work with the college’s strategic partnership efforts to help prospect, develop, manage, and grow revenue-generating relationships between the Marketing Department and industry partners (e.g., through “Sprints,” student-oriented sponsored research projects, sponsored internships, and immersive programs etc.).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in pursuing research and teaching related to marketing alongside engagement with students outside the classroom, alumni, and partners from the industry. Candidates must have a relevant terminal degree and significant management and business development experience. The ideal candidate will have the successful teaching and research experience expected of a Clinical Assistant Professor.

Robinson has broad and deep relationships with the Atlanta business community through its insight (analytics) labs focusing on fintech, operations, and social media. The college also has discipline‐specific roundtables in financial leadership, human resources, logistics, marketing, and sales.

About the Marketing Department

The Marketing Department offers BBA, MBA, MS, and Ph.D. programs in marketing. It is ranked among the top programs worldwide for publications in the top marketing journals in the last several years.
