Alma College invites applications for a tenure track professor position in digital marketing within our Communication/New Media Studies department. This exciting role offers the opportunity for an innovative educator and visionary colleague to guide the development of our new Digital Marketing program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching at introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels in this interdisciplinary major, as well as shaping the direction of the program to align with both industry needs and academic best practices. Typical teaching load is six units per year.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Digital Marketing, New Media, Communication, or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in the evolving landscape of digital marketing is essential, alongside a strong record of academic and/or professional achievements in the domain. A deep passion for teaching and mentoring, with a commitment to fostering student success, is paramount. Additionally, experience or interest in program development and leadership will be highly valued.
