Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing
The AACSB accredited E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in the Marketing Department at the Assistant/Associate Professor level beginning August 2024.
The individual hired for this position will have responsibilities in teaching, research, and service. This new colleague should have experience and expertise in teaching consumer behavior along with one or more marketing courses at the undergraduate and MBA level. The teaching load is typically 3 courses per semester and may include face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online delivery methods. In addition to teaching responsibilities, active engagement in scholarly academic intellectual activities is required. The successful candidate will have expertise qualifying them to teach the aforementioned consumer behavior course, in addition one or more of the following: Marketing Principles, Advertising, or International Business. The individual hired will also be responsible for advising undergraduate students, contributing to assessment of student learning outcomes, and engaging in other service activities within the department, college, campus, community, and profession.
To be considered, candidates will have a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in marketing from an AACSB accredited institution. A.B.D.’s with a clear plan for degree completion by December 31, 2024 are also encouraged to apply. A candidate with a completed Ph.D./D.B.A. must have a recent and consistent record of publication in quality refereed journals. Applicants must have abilities, skills, and enthusiasm consistent with teaching excellence and instructional innovation. Applicants with research interests consistent with the Wall College of Business mission are desirable.
