Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Digital Marketing based in the Marketing Department of Nottingham University Business School. The candidate appointed will be expected to engage in high quality research in the area of marketing. The person appointed will be expected to contribute to teaching marketing modules across the range of programmes offered by the School at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels. Appointed candidates will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area, or be close to completion, together with previous teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. They should have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subjects across marketing. Teaching experience in digital marketing is essential. Research interests in relevant areas that complement existing research within the Marketing Department and publications in academic journals in relevant areas are also required. Candidates should have the ability to develop their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team.
This is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours per week).
