The Marketing area at London Business School invites applications for a fully funded postdoctoral research position starting from the academic year 2024/2025.  The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research in Marketing, including working with LBS faculty. The postdoc will be required to teach 37.5 hours (e.g., one half-term course to three streams) per academic year.

Qualifications

Applicants must have completed a PhD before the appointment in marketing, economics, computer science, or a related field.  They must demonstrate strong capabilities for conducting original empirical research using tools such as causal inference, machine learning, structural modelling, or similar. Ideal candidates must have a strong interest in how their research tackles real-world business problems, taken in a broad sense.

The term is one year, extensible to two years, subject to continued satisfactory performance. We will offer a competitive salary and full access to the LBS environment. The postdoctoral fellow is expected to contribute and benefit from the resources of the Marketing community, which includes interactions with faculty and PhD students, mentoring opportunities, or organisation of reading groups.
