The College of Management at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for one full-time, benefited non-tenure-track (NTT) instructor position, beginning from January 2024.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should meet one of the following criteria:

1. Hold a Ph.D. in marketing or a related field with some teaching experience at the university level.
2. Possess an MBA or master’s in business or a related discipline from an accredited institution, along with significant industry experience.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include teaching and service. Candidates will be responsible for instructing undergraduate and graduate marketing-related courses.

Candidates are expected to provide substantial evidence of effective teaching in a diverse learning environment and will be expected to engage in meaningful service to the college, university, academic profession, and community at large. About the Organization

The College of Management (CM) is AACSB-accredited and is the only public Business School in Boston. CM’s mission is to cultivate the next generation of business and community leaders by providing accessible and exceptional learning experiences, backed by cutting-edge intellectual contributions and professional engagement. The College offers two bachelor’s degrees, five master’s degrees that can be completed on campus, online, or in a combination, and a PhD in Business Administration which consists of the Finance track, the Organizations and Social Change (OSC) track, and the  Information Systems for Data Science and Management track. Total enrollment in the College has grown rapidly to about 2,500 students. The College has a Center for Collaborative Leadership, a Digital Media Lab, an Entrepreneurship Center, a Center for Sustainable Enterprise and Regional Competitiveness, a Financial Services Forum, and participates in cross-college initiatives such as the Sustainable Solutions Lab and the Venture Development Center. Numerous opportunities for research and collaboration exist with faculty, businesses, governmental agencies, institutes, and research centers in the university system and in the greater Boston area.
