Clinical Assistant Professor of Management

Job Summary

The Marketing Area in the Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business, Purdue University, invites applications for a clinical professor position (non-tenure track but promotable to higher rank) starting in August, 2024.


This position is an academic year position and requires 18 credit hour course teaching in marketing (undergraduate, residential master’s programs, weekend MBA program, and online programs) and 9 credit hours of program management, area/department/school services, and external partners’ engagement.


The primary service responsibilities for the position may include but not limited to:
•    sourcing and coordinating experiential learning projects for the MS Marketing program and undergraduate Marketing program students;
•    engaging in industry and academic venues for the collaboration in research and student development,

or

•    coordinating teaching in the Marketing area, including the standardization of undergraduate Marketing core course and the mentoring of TA instructors;
•    developing and innovating Marketing curriculum.

Minimum requirements
•    A Ph.D. or M.A./M.S./MBA with extensive teaching or advising experience at the college level is required.
•    Passionate about teaching and with excellent student reviews.
•    Strong ability to develop and organize experiential learning projects and events/Strong ability to coordinate teaching and develop curriculum and teaching strategy with   up-to-date technology
•    Effective communication skills, particularly with colleagues and students.
•    Industry experience/connection is a plus.
