ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MARKETING AND BUSINESS ANALYTICS

The School of Management at Binghamton University (State University of New York) invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in Marketing and Business Analytics, starting in mid-August 2024, subject to budgetary approval.

Requirements. Candidates must hold or have completed all PhD degree requirements by July 1, 2024. Candidates should have research interests in either behavioral, strategy or quantitative/modeling/analytics areas and demonstrate high quality research, as evidenced by publication, or potential to publish, in the top marketing journals, and by presentations at the top marketing conferences.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Produce original and innovative research to be published in the top business academic journals for marketing and expected to present at top marketing conferences. To support faculty research, the school provides summer funding for the first three years of service.
  • Instruct both undergraduate and graduate Marketing courses. The candidate is expected to be able and willing to teach analytics or applied analytics courses, and expand on the analytics electives currently offered. The standard teaching load is 2+2 per academic year.
  • Participate actively in the Marketing PhD program (curriculum development and assessment) and student advising.
