SKEMA Business School (https://www.skema.edu/) invites applications for a position at Assistant and/or Associate Professor and/or Full Professor rank, in Marketing to begin August 2024. The successful candidate will develop and/or lead academic research projects with the aim of publishing in the field’s highest-quality journals.

We encourage applications from scholars that pursue research projects in the marketing field. The activities in research are undertaken as a part the research group MINT center (Market Interactions; https://www.skema.edu/faculty-and-research/marketing/presentation-mint) characterized by a multimethod approach to marketing. The successful candidate should show evidence of track record in publishing in top tier international journals and the desire to engage in MINT research environment and contribute to its further development.

The candidate may be asked to teach online or on campus-based undergraduate and/or graduate level courses. The candidate is expected to contribute to student mentorship, to projects related to SKEMA SKY25 corporate strategy, and to be actively engaged in other service initiatives, including student selection processes. If appropriate, s/he may take on a coordination role.

The position is permanent with a full-time contract. Salary and conditions are competitive, in line with international standards. SKEMA Business School offers publication bonuses for peer- reviewed publications. The language of work and instruction is English. Knowledge of French is not required, and we will not use it as a criterion for selection. SKEMA Business School offers support in learning French.

Qualifications must include:

  • A Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field
  • Have a strong research orientation and track record, as demonstrated by apublication track record in highly regarded management journals (e.g., FT list) orshow potential (for the position of Assistant Professor)
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collegial environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Commitment to service and/or outreach activities
