The Department of Marketing in the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University seeks an associate professor or professor of Marketing (tenure-track/tenured) for employment starting Fall 2024.
The successful candidate will teach marketing courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs, including MBA and doctoral programs, as well as in executive education and non-degree certificate programs. They will be expected to maintain an active program of high quality research and publications. They also will participate in appropriate service to the department, college, university, community, and profession. Emphasis will be placed on producing scholarly research in top-tier peer-reviewed marketing and business journals. All areas of marketing focus in teaching/research will be considered.
Minimum Qualifications:• An earned doctorate in marketing from a university accredited by AACSB or an equivalent accrediting body for business schools.
• A publication record including articles in peer-reviewed academic journals, sufficient for promotion and tenure at a higher-research activity doctoral-granting university.
• In addition, a strong pipeline of research-in-progress demonstrating a commitment to continued research productivity and the ability to achieve and maintain AACSB “Scholarly Academic” qualifications.
• A demonstrated record of excellence in teaching Marketing courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels at an accredited university, including experience teaching in fully online and/or hybrid delivery platforms.
