*The person appointed as Assistant Professor on conditional tenure track is hired for a two- year term, renewable twice on the recommendation of the Dean’s Office. An evaluation procedure is initiated in principle at the end of the 8th semester, i.e. at the beginning of the third two-year term. At the end of this procedure, the Faculty proposes (or not) to the Direction of UNIL that the candidate be promoted to the rank of full professor.
Your qualifications
Candidates must hold a PhD in Marketing or a related discipline. They should have an excellent and promising research and publication record in the field of Marketing with a clear interest in topics around strategic marketing and digital marketing and related topics (e.g., branding, innovation) as well as their practical applications. We seek applicants with an ability to conduct top research in the field, to publish in leading international journals and conferences, and the capacity to attract research funds.
Teaching experience in English and/or French at university level (Bachelor’s and Master’s) is an asset.
In line with the strategy of the faculty, preference will be given to candidates who do research and teaching on topics connected to marketing strategy. All research methods are welcome but experience with empirical methods is strongly appreciated.
The new professor will be a member of the Department of Marketing at HEC Lausanne. We offer attractive teaching loads and an excellent research environment.
