The School of Business at Meredith College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Marketing at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2024.
In addition to teaching and research, faculty are expected to serve on committees, advise students, and provide additional service to the School of Business and the College.
A normal teaching load for faculty is three courses per semester, and research is required, although research expectations are commensurate with teaching load. Summer research grants are guaranteed in the first two years. Commitment to academic excellence and the ability to work effectively and collegially are expected.
Qualifications:
– A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Marketing or a closely-related field is required. Degrees from AACSB-accredited programs are highly preferred (ABD will be considered).
– Demonstration of excellence in teaching marketing courses, with specific experience or interest in Principles of Marketing, Advertising, and Digital Marketing.
– Demonstration of scholarly contribution through refereed journal publications and other intellectual contributions. Publications in the scholarship of teaching and learning are a plus, and ABDC recognized outlets are strongly preferred.
