Responsibilities

This nine-month, tenure-track appointment will begin August 2024.

Teaches a variety of courses in Marketing in the Business Administration program. Other responsibilities include academic advising, curriculum development, grant writing, campus and community service, research, and publishing. Faculty members may perform other duties as required in support of organizational goals.

Qualifications

Candidates for the position must have a Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree in Marketing or closely related field by the position start date from an AACSB accredited business school. A.B.D.’s will be considered. Candidates must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.

Candidates should have demonstrated ability and willingness to (1) engage in curriculum development that steeped in critical thinking and experiential learning that lead to high levels of student engagement, (2) work collaboratively as a contributing member of a faculty team, (3) have a strong desire in continuing to develop the retail management concentration through interaction and engagement with industry professionals, and (4) have professional marketing and/or retail management experience.
