The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University invites applications for two open rank faculty positions starting August 2024. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Marketing or related field from an AACSB accredited university.

Candidates with new or anticipated Ph.D. degrees will have research under way that is likely to result in one or more publications in top tier journals and will have presentation skills that suggest future excellence in teaching.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest, a current vita, a statement of research and teaching interests, three letters of reference, sample publications and/or working papers, and teaching evaluations, if applicable, by August 29, 2023. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. All initial interviews will be conducted virtually. The Owen Graduate School of Management is engaged in graduate and undergraduate management education, with an enrollment of over 600 students in its MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Marketing, and Master of Management in Health Care programs. In addition, Owen faculty members teach in the Vanderbilt University undergraduate business minor. Owen enrolls a culturally diverse student body from all parts of the U.S. and 47 countries. Founded in 1873, Vanderbilt University is an internationally recognized research university with a student body of some 13,710 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, and approximately 1,023 full-time faculty (excluding faculty employed by the Medical Center), of whom 57 have their primary appointment at Owen. The university is situated on a 330-acre campus located a mile and a half south of downtown Nashville.

Home to more than 2.0 million people, the Nashville metropolitan statistical area has over a dozen colleges and universities, including four Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
