The Marketing Department at the Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame, invites applications for an open Rank Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Consumer Behavior/Psychology. The appointment is expected to begin in Fall 2024. More senior applicants should have research, teaching, and service records sufficient to merit appointment at the appropriate rank. We are especially interested in individuals whose research would complement the interests of our existing faculty. Candidates who have outstanding teaching and research skills, and seek to contribute to the distinctive mission of a Catholic university are encouraged to apply. About the Marketing Department

The Marketing Department in the Mendoza College of Business includes tenured, tenure-track, and instructional faculty with expertise and research interests spanning marketing strategy, consumer behavior, digital marketing, quantitative marketing, marketing for the common good, marketing ethics, public policy and emerging markets. The Marketing Department is home to a diversity of approaches making for a vibrant research environment. Our faculty have won several prestigious research awards in recent years. The department also includes post-doctoral researchers and affiliated faculty. A number of faculty in other departments within Mendoza have related research interests.

Qualifications

We welcome applicants at all levels of seniority, including new graduates, untenured Assistant Professors, tenured Associate Professors, and tenured full Professors for the position. More senior applicants should have research, teaching, and service records sufficient to merit appointment at the appropriate rank. Applicants for the position of Assistant Professor should expect to complete doctoral degree requirements in Marketing or a related field before the start of the contract period. Candidates who have outstanding teaching and research skills, and seek to contribute to the distinctive mission of a Catholic university are encouraged to apply. Salaries and teaching loads are competitive. Applications and recommendations should be received by August 15, 2023, or until the position is filled. First round interviews will be conducted via Zoom starting in August.
