  • Research and/or teaching preferably in the areas of marketing communications, retailing and sales management, digital marketing, marketing analytics, international marketing, and the application of artificial intelligence to marketing;
  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses;
  • Supervise graduate students;
  • Participation in teaching and administrative activities of the Department and the Faculty;
  • Participation in academic activities, off-campus and abroad, that contribute to the visibility of the University and the Faculty.

Selection criterias

Candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • Hold a Ph. D. in Business Administration (preferably in Marketing). Doctoral students with significant progress towards their degree (i.e., ABD) and candidates with a Ph.D. from a related discipline will also be considered;
  • Ability to conduct research leading to publications in high-ranking journals;
  • Ability to teach university-level courses;
  • Ability to teach in French and English. Candidates who are not fluent in French at hiring are expected to be able to teach in French within three years of hiring;
  • Research and/or teaching profile related to the priority areas outlined in the position description.

Hiring and treatment

Salary according to the current collective agreement.
