The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia (UVA) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of Marketing beginning in the fall of 2024. The position is open at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Applicants must have a terminal degree by the start date of the appointment in Marketing or a related field such as economics, psychology, computer science, or statistics. Applicants for a position as an Assistant Professor must show potential for excellence in research and teaching. Applicants for senior Assistant and Associate levels must have demonstrated an outstanding record of research productivity and impact that is managerially relevant. A record of success as a teacher is required for the senior Assistant/Associate Professor applicants. A demonstrated desire and ability to teach marketing courses at the MBA level is preferred.
