Position Summary:
The Department of Marketing & Business Law in the Villanova School of Business at Villanova University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant, advanced assistant, or associate professor position in Marketing with a start date in August 2024. Initial interviews will be conducted virtually beginning in August 2023. No interviews will be held during the Summer AMA Conference. Finalists will be invited to interview on campus.

We seek candidates with demonstrated success in, or high potential for, exemplary teaching in marketing analytics or digital marketing. Capability to support the marketing curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels based on department needs is expected. Teaching loads are competitive.

We seek collegial faculty who are motivated by the pursuit of high-quality scholarly research in any marketing area of study or methodology. Summer support, competitive grants, conference travel, and research assistance are available. Faculty have access to the Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights as well as an on-site behavioral research lab. Our department currently includes three journal editors as well as authors of high-quality publications in outlets including Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, Journal of Advertising and Journal of Consumer Psychology, among others.

Duties and Responsibilities:
VSB is committed to both high-quality scholarly research and teaching excellence. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda leading to high-quality publications, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is expected as assigned. Service is commensurate with rank.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field by August 2024.

Preferred Qualifications:
A Ph.D. by August 2024 with teaching experience in marketing analytics or digital marketing who demonstrates a strong potential for, or demonstrated success in, high-quality research in any marketing area. Someone that can work with other faculty and contribute to a collegial environment.
