The Department of Marketing at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, invites applications for a full-time, Tenured position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning Fall 2024. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Associate Professor.
The successful candidate is expected to conduct research in Consumer Behavior. Special consideration will be given to candidates whose research focuses on areas of inquiry that have relevance to retailing. Candidates must have earned a PhD or be expected to earn one by August 2024. All candidates are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality. In addition to publishing in leading marketing journals, the successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, participate in all aspects of the department’s activities, and serve the profession.
The Mays Business School and our department offer an excellent research environment, with a collegial culture, productive faculty colleagues, access to key databases, a state-of-the-art behavioral research lab, a teaching load of three courses per year (which continues after tenure for highly productive faculty), and relationships with world-class research faculty in related disciplines. Qualifications
Applicants for this position must possess research and teaching interest/emphasis in marketing and have earned a PhD in Marketing or a related field. Special consideration will be given to candidates whose research focuses on areas of inquiry that have relevance to retailing.
