Guide and inspire students to learn by planning, conducting, and evaluating instructional activities geared to student learning characteristics and designed to achieve collegiate standards. This job requires that each faculty member have for each course a course outline, well-stated behavioral objectives, enabling activities, and performance measures. It also requires the availability of the faculty member to students for counseling (in conference).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reports to a Chair or other higher-level administrator. 
  • Responsible for teaching, research/creative works, service and related administrative activities. – 
  • Responsible for academic advising.  
  • May represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or Statewide committees.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • An earned Doctorate in Business with a major in Marketing. 

Preferred:

  •  Evidence of grant writing, research, and teaching at the college/university level is a plus. (ABD considered)
