Position Summary
The position has two primary roles. The instructor role encompasses teaching undergraduate courses in marketing and sales. Service to the Department as the Director of Collaborative Learning for the Sales Program is also expected.

Detailed Position Information
The Department of Marketing invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position, at the rank of instructor for the academic year beginning August 16, 2023. Primary duties include teaching Sales and Marketing at the undergraduate level. Likely courses primarily include Professional Selling and Advanced Sales, with the possibility of adding Marketing courses as needed. Responsibilities will focus mostly on teaching courses face-to-face. There may also be responsibilities for hybrid or online delivery modes. In addition, regularly meeting with students throughout the week related to coursework and student responsibilities is expected. Service to the Department as the Director of Collaborative Learning for the Sales Program is also expected. The Sales Program’s Director of Collaborative Learning leads a student staff of graduate and undergraduate assistants, manages academic policies and processes for over 1,000 students across 4 courses, publishes 30 corporately sponsored selling scenarios with supporting resources, and works within a Program budget. The Director responsibilities are compensated separately as an annual stipend.

Minimum Qualifications
A master’s degree in business or related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching marketing at the college level is preferred.
