Job Summary

The Department of Management & Marketing at Purdue University Fort Wayne (http://www.pfw.edu) invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Marketing to begin January 2024.

Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and/or MBA courses in Marketing, including but not limited to courses such as Introduction to Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Management. A combination of online, hybrid, and face-to-face course delivery will be expected. The regular teaching load is four courses per semester in a small classroom environment. The candidate will also participate in the life of the department

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing. ABDs in advanced stages will also be considered.  Preferred qualifications are 2-3 years of teaching experience in university setting, an active research agenda, and/or industry experience.

The Department

Doermer School of Business is accredited by AACSB International. The Department of Management & Marketing consists of 18 Full-time faculty members. We offer baccalaureate majors in Management and Marketing, as well as minors and certificates. We also contribute extensively to the delivery of the MBA program. Our online baccalaureate degree is ranked 40th nationally and 4th in the state of Indiana in the US News & World Report’s Best Online Programs 2022.
