Job Summary:

The School of Management is seeking a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing. This position will involve teaching classes during the day and evening times. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching all levels of marketing classes from introduction through graduate level classes.

The School of Management is seeking faculty members who, in addition to teaching their classes, participate in the life of the School and its activities. This will include attending faculty and School events on campus, and participating in the community as a representative of Marist College and the School of Management.

The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for the position as an Assistant/Associate Professor for the fall 2024 semester. We welcome candidates who will place a strong emphasis on quality teaching in a small classroom setting. The expected course load for our faculty is 21 credits, typically distributed as a 3:4 course load. Applicants should have an active research agenda that leads to high-quality peer reviewed publications and presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Terminal degree in marketing or related field (Ph.D. or A.B.D. with projected completion by December 2024).  Professional experience is also highly desirable.

Essential Functions:

Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.  Maintaining an active research agenda leading to peer-reviewed publications.  Advising students, taking part in service activities, and serving on committees as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Interest, training, and experience related to digital marketing or sales preferred.  

Interest, training, and experience related to marketing strategy (business strategy) and marketing communication is a plus.
