Southern Methodist University

The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University is seeking candidates for a tenure-track position (#49889) at the entry-level assistant or untenured associate professor levels for Fall 2024, or earlier if circumstances permit. Candidates are expected to exhibit strong research capabilities in the marketing discipline and have the ability to effectively teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the business school.  Candidates must have earned a doctorate (Ph.D.) or be in the process of completing a doctorate in marketing or a related field. Research and teaching are emphasized for tenure and promotion.  Salary is negotiable based on experience, research record, and rank. 

Applicants must provide a curriculum vitae, recommendation letters or a list of references, and a cover letter explaining their research focus and interest in the position.

The selection process will involve interviewing qualified candidates and inviting some of them to SMU-Cox campus for a research presentation.  A review of applications will start on May 15, 2023 and will continue until the position is filled.
