Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business invites applications for an Advanced Assistant or Associate Professor starting in Fall 2023.

One of our research strengths in the Marketing Area at the McDonough School of Business is our common focus on the consumer as the unit of analysis across methodologies. Whether faculty conduct quantitative analyses, build analytical models, or conduct experiments, we share an interest in consumer-level data, allowing us to collaborate on research and generate insights using multiple methods. The Marketing area is currently composed of 11 tenure-track faculty (Sean Blair, Simon Blanchard, Ziwei Cong, Suh Yeon Kim, Ronald Goodstein, Rebecca Hamilton, Prashant Malaviya, Michael O’Donnell, Anita Rao, Debora Thompson and Luc Wathieu) and four non-tenure line faculty (Sudipta Dasmohapatra, Karthikeya Easwar, Michael Ryan and Charles Skuba); see https://msb.georgetown.edu/faculty-research/marketing/. The McDonough School of Business has an ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as a fundamental aspect of the Georgetown community.

The McDonough School of Business is committed to and promotes a strong research culture. Qualifications include a Ph.D in marketing or related fields, demonstrated ability to conduct “A” journal quality research, evidence of teaching excellence, and interest in contributing to the future growth of the school. Necessary support for research and professional development will be provided. Salary and benefits will be competitive with the leading business schools.
