Yonsei University – Main Campus (Sinchon Campus, Seoul)

The marketing area at the Yonsei School of Business (Main campus), Yonsei University, South Korea, seeks outstanding candidates for a tenure-track advanced Assistant/Associate Professor and a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in September 2024. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in marketing or related field prior to appointment. We will consider behavioral and quantitative researchers as well as strategy researchers, with the objective of selecting a candidate who demonstrates the potential to build an excellent research record in their respective disciplines.

Interested candidates should complete an application form and submit the following materials electronically to the Yonsei University’s faculty recruiting system (https://faculty.yonsei.ac.kr/recruit/index.php?mid=K02&lang=en) between May 17 – June 21 2023 (3:00pm KST) in order to be fully considered for an interview.

Required Documents for Preliminary Review:

1) Online Application (including List of Research Achievements & Curriculum Vitae)
2) Degree Certificates and Transcripts (Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. respectively)
3) Ph.D. Dissertation
4) Research highlights along with a statement for each achievement since March 1, 2018 (up to five achievements)

  • A statement for each achievement should be within a page length.
  • Research materials that are not successfully uploaded can be submitted via mail to the DepartmentAdministration Office.
  • Accepted manuscripts can be counted for achievement with acceptance letters from Editors-in-Chief orpublishers.(Note: Above are materials required for preliminary review; please check the online recruiting system for application materials required for shortlisted candidates. Please note that there are multiple job postings for different campuses at Yonsei. You should apply to the campus that you want to join since applications submitted for the other campus (e.g., Mirae campus) job postings will not be shared nor considered by our department at the main campus.)

Notification of Results

  1. 1)  Preliminary review result will be notified before the mid of August via email by School of Business.
  2. 2)  Shortlisted candidates must submit required documents before the deadline informed by School ofBusiness. Shortlisted candidates will also be invited for a presentation and interview.
  3. 3)  Final offers will be issued by the Office of Academic Affairs via email until the end of November.
