The Department of Marketing at Quinnipiac University invites applications for a full-time, visiting faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin August 2023. The successful candidate will support the growth of the department’s Marketing Insights and Behavioral Research Lab and develop and teach courses in Marketing Strategy and/or Marketing Analytics. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in UX research, behavioral research, and/or marketing analytics. The successful candidate will also be an active member of the university community by engaging in the development of new programs, university service, advising, and research. Please note: This is an in-person position on our Mt Carmel Campus, Hamden, CT.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver experiential, on-ground, and online courses in Marketing Strategy and/or Marketing Analytics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Teaching responsibilities may include other courses in Marketing
  • Teach a typical load of 4/4 load as a visiting faculty member
  • Support the growth of the department’s Behavioral Research and Marketing Insights Lab
  • Build external partnerships for curricular development, guest speakers, internships, and job placements
  • Maintain an active research agenda appropriate for the position
  • Advise and mentor students
  • Be an active member of the university and larger academic community

Education Requirements:

  • A Ph.D., D.B.A., or master’s degree in Marketing or a related field from a research-oriented program. A doctorate is preferred. Candidates who are A.B.D. with the potential for high-quality teaching are encouraged to apply
