The Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for TWO anticipated tenure track positions at the rank of untenured Assistant Professor in Marketing beginning Fall 2023. Candidates are expected to produce high-quality research in the area of marketing that results in publications in top journals in the field and to effectively teach graduate and undergraduate courses. These positions are contingent upon receiving budgetary approval from the University and upon authorization to work in the United States. We expect candidates to complete doctoral degree requirements, preferably in Marketing, prior to Fall 2023. Candidates who are 1-3 years out of the Ph.D. program are also encouraged to apply. The two positions target candidates with the following interests: 

  • Position 1-Behavioral Marketing, with research rooted in psychology and experimentation; 
  • Position 2- Empirical Quant Marketing, with research addressing substantive, strategic marketing or consumer issues.
