Overview

The School of Business invites applications for the following tenure-track, assistant professor position in Marketing starting in fall 2023. Applications are invited from candidates who have completed a Ph.D. (or are ABD) from an AACSB Accredited School of Business. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US, and available to start teaching in fall 2023.

Job Responsibilities

The Management/Marketing department offers majors in Management, Marketing and Human Resources Management. Faculty teach in our undergraduate and on-line MBA program.

The teaching load is three courses per semester; options for additional summer teaching exist. Successful candidates will demonstrate the capacity to produce and publish original scholarship in refereed journals to enable classification as “Scholarly Academics” under the guidelines of AACSB International. St. John Fisher University supports scholarship in several ways including a yearly grant to faculty, and a competitive school-wide grant that is available to faculty applicants. The University also provides administrative help in securing external funding for research.

Education / Experience

Required:

  • A Ph.D. (or are ABD) from an AACSB Accredited School of Business. 
  • Candidates must have written a marketing dissertation, or be ABD, ideally in the area of buyer behavior / consumer behavior and should possess the ability to teach statistics/data analytics. 
  • Candidates with an established record of teaching.
