About the position

The Goodman School of Business at Brock University invites applications for an Instructional Limited Term Appointment (ILTA) to teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the area of Marketing. This is a 12-month appointment commencing July 1st, 2023 with the opportunity for renewal. The position consists of teaching 8 half credit courses or equivalent per academic year.

Qualifications

Consideration will be given to candidates who are ABD or who hold a PhD in Marketing or a related field. The ability to teach in other areas, such as Strategy and International Business, is considered an asset. The successful individual must be research and/or professionally active and have a proven track record of teaching experience and success at postsecondary institutions in the area of Marketing.

About the Department of Marketing, International Business and Strategy (MIBS)

The Department of MIBS has 19 full-time faculty members and is one of four departments in the Goodman School of Business, which has approximately 100 full-time members. We offer graduate and undergraduate programs with marketing streams, both research and professionally oriented including: Master of Science in Marketing, Master of Business Administration with a Marketing Specialization, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with an optional Marketing stream.

About the Goodman School of Business

The Goodman School of Business, named for respected business leader Ned Goodman, is AACSB accredited and offers graduate and undergraduate programs in business and accounting, with over 3500 students enrolled. Faculty members appointed for an instructional limited term of twelve (12) months or more shall receive Professional Development Reimbursement (PDR) and benefits (extended health, dental, life insurance, LTD, AD and D and pension).
