The David F. Rankin College of Business at Southern Arkansas University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing position beginning August 2023. The Rankin College of Business is accredited by AACSB International and offers BBA and MBA degrees in on-campus, online, and hybrid modalities. Southern Arkansas University is the fastest-growing university in Arkansas and is located in Magnolia in the southwestern part of the state. Duties: Teach seated and online graduate and undergraduate courses in marketing, consumer behavior, marketing research, retailing, sales, data analytics, and/or logistics, produce scholarly research leading to publications in refereed journals, advise students, serve on various committees at the college and university level, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in marketing or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited or equivalent institution with the ability to teach marketing and data-analytics. ABD candidates nearing completion may be considered. Preferred consideration will be given to applicants that can demonstrate relevant teaching experience at the university level and/or the ability to make scholarly contributions through refereed journal publications and other intellectual activities.
