Responsibilities: The Wesleyan College Department of Business is seeking a full-time, Assistant Professor of Business, specializing in Digital Marketing to begin August 2023. This is a three-year renewable non-tenure track contract. Candidates who possess marketing experience or hold certifications in the field will be given special consideration. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. The desired candidate will have experience in teaching courses in marketing as well as general business. The successful candidate will be a dedicated teacher and effective mentor for students with diverse backgrounds, preparation, and career goals.
Responsibilities include teaching 21 hours per academic year at the undergraduate-level. The position will join the Business department and will develop and teach courses to support the popular Advertising, Marketing Communication major.
Qualifications: A master’s degree in marketing, an MBA with a specialty in marketing, or a doctorate in marketing, communications, or other business-related discipline is required. Exceptional ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor until the doctorate is obtained. Experience teaching diverse populations and in liberal arts settings will be considered added advantages, as will online teaching.
