Position: Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing (Digital Marketing & Social Media subareas of interest)

Effective Date of Appointment: August 2023

Deadline: March 20, 2023, but open until filled

Description: We invite applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing at Goldey-Beacom College. This is a one-year appointment, and salary is commensurate with experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Ideal applicants would hold a PhD or DBA in Marketing or a related field from an accredited institution, but ABD candidates will also be considered. Candidates are expected to demonstrate evidence of potential for strong teaching effectiveness and working successfully with a diverse student population. Experience teaching in digital marketing and/or social media at the undergraduate and graduate level is preferred. Prior work experience in digital marketing and/or social media is also a plus.

Responsibilities: In addition to teaching a 4-4 course load, this individual will have the opportunity develop the Marketing curriculum at undergraduate and graduate levels at Goldey-Beacom College. Faculty of the College prioritize excellent teaching, pursue academic and/or industry research, engage in service to the College and the community, and participate in shared governance.
