Position Summary:
Arkansas State University is now accepting applications for a one year, full-time, nine-month, Visiting Professor/Temporary Instructor of Marketing position in the Department of Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain. This position begins August 2023.
The Visiting Professor/Temporary Instructor of Marketing will teach undergraduate courses preferably in marketing analytics, digital marketing, sales and/or other specialty areas.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
An earned Ph.D. in marketing or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited school. ABDs from an AACSB-accredited school or an MBA with industry experience will also be considered if completed by August 2023.
Record of quality teaching both face-to-face and online preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Research, teaching and/or professional experience in marketing analytics, professional sales, advertising, promotions, digital marketing, predictive marketing analytics, social media marketing, and data analytics is valued
General Days/Hours:
Classes are taught face-to-face and/or online
Traditional classes are scheduled Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and evenings Monday – Thursday 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
