The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University invites applications for one full-time non-tenure track Senior Lecturer faculty position in Marketing starting August 2023. The length of the appointment is three academic years. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing or related field from an AACSB accredited university. The position’s primary responsibility is teaching in the MBA and Master’s of Marketing (MMark) programs. Teaching load and salary are competitive.

The Owen Graduate School of Management is engaged in graduate and undergraduate management education, with an enrollment of over 600 students in its MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Marketing, and Master of Management in Health Care programs. In addition, Owen faculty members teach in the Vanderbilt University undergraduate business minor. Owen enrolls a culturally diverse student body from all parts of the U.S. and 47 countries. Founded in 1873, Vanderbilt University is an internationally recognized research university with a student body of some 13,500 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, and approximately 1,440 full-time faculty (excluding faculty employed by the Medical Center), of whom 50 have their primary appointment at Owen. The university is situated on a 330-acre campus located a mile and a half south of downtown Nashville.

Home to more than 2.0 million people, the Nashville metropolitan statistical area has over a dozen colleges and universities, including four Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Nashville features many cultural and recreational amenities including a symphony orchestra, professional sports, an extensive park system, hiking and biking trails, exceptional restaurants, and live music offerings across a broad variety of genres.
