Nichols College invites applications for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Marketing, with start date of July 2023. Rank and tenure will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, and tenure track is possible for those who qualify. Faculty responsibilities include teaching undergraduate or graduate courses each semester, holding regular office hours, providing service to students and the college, and engaging in relevant and appropriate scholarship and professional activity. More experienced candidates with administrative aspirations may be considered for the position of Chair of the Marketing Program.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in marketing or closely related field from an accredited higher education institution, as well as an active research agenda. Candidates who are ABD will be considered. The ideal candidate will have a passion for effective, creative teaching, with an emphasis on experiential learning. Industry experience is highly desirable, particularly in the area of analytics and digital marketing.

The Marketing Department, housed in the School of Business, offers concentrations in Marketing, Digital & Social Media Marketing, and Marketing Analytics. Our marketing students gain practical, industry-relevant experience through internships as well as course-embedded consulting projects and certifications.
