Faculty Position in Marketing (Lecturer or Clinical Ranks)Indiana University Kelley School of Business Indianapolis invites applications for a position in marketing at the Lecturer or Clinical rank with a start date no later than August 1, 2023. We are seeking a faculty member to teach marketing courses. Specific courses may include Introduction to Marketing Management in the Kelley Integrated Core, Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Advertising, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Channels, and others. 
The Kelley School of Business has over 12,000 students, 120,000 living alumni, and 330 full time faculty and provides programs in two locations: Bloomington and Indianapolis (IUPUI). The Kelley School of Business Indianapolis has about 1,800 students (1,200 undergraduate and 600 graduate) and approximately 60 full-time faculty. Basic Qualifications
For the Lecturer rank, minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in business or a related field, as well as business and/or teaching experience. Lecturers teach at the undergraduate level and have a base teaching load of twenty-four credit hours (8 three-credit courses) per year. Lecturers engage in professional development and pedagogical dissemination and can expect to devote 40 or more hours a week to the position. The amount of time spent on campus will vary. Lecturers are expected to be physically present to meet with students, collaborate with colleagues, and attend meetings as needed. All faculty members are expected to participate on a minimum of two committees. There are three levels within the Lecturer rank (Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Teaching Professor), and there is a promotion process to facilitate moving through the levels. Lecturers also maintain Instructional Practitioner or Scholarly Practitioner AACSB qualifications. Lecturers have access to an account that helps pay for conference travel and other development-related expenses.For the Clinical rank, minimum qualifications include a terminal degree, such as a Ph.D. degree. Clinical faculty have a base teaching load of eighteen credit hours (6 courses) per year, teach at the graduate and undergraduate level, have access to Kelley research resources to continue their disciplinary and/or pedagogical scholarship to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic qualifications. The amount of time spent on campus will vary. Clinical faculty are expected to be physically present to meet with students, collaborate with colleagues, and attend meetings as needed. All faculty members are expected to participate on a minimum of two committees. There is a promotion process from Assistant Clinical Professor to Associate Clinical Professor to Clinical Professor. Rank is dependent on scholarship, teaching, and service. Clinical faculty have access to an account that helps pay for conference travel, submissions, and other development-related expenses.
