The Department of Marketing in the Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, invites applications from candidates for a full-time tenure-track position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning Fall of 2023 (or earlier, if feasible). Applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Assistant Professor.

Research and teaching interest/emphasis in Consumer Behavior is required. Special consideration will be given to candidates whose research focuses on social responsibility or consumer well-being.

The Mays Business School and our department offer an excellent research environment, with a collegial culture, productive faculty colleagues, access to key databases, a state-of-the-art behavioral research lab, a teaching load of three courses per year (which continues after tenure for highly productive faculty), and relationships with world-class research faculty in related disciplines. Qualifications

Research and teaching interest/emphasis in Consumer Behavior is required. Special consideration will be given to candidates whose research focuses on social responsibility or consumer well-being. Candidates must have earned a PhD within the last two years or the PhD must be awarded on or before the start date. 

All candidates are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.  In addition to publishing in leading marketing journals, the successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, participate in all aspects of the department’s activities, and serve the profession.
