The Department of Marketing in the Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University invites immediate applications for an assistant or associate professor tenure-track position in Marketing to begin August 2023. A strong interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching, evidence of research potential, and a capacity to support the enhancement of the marketing program and college are expected. Specifically, applicants with experience or interest in teaching Consumer Behavior is preferred, and additional interest in marketing research or creative application is a plus. Candidates are also given ample opportunities to participate in service leadership as they advance through the ranks. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. 

Belmont University offers a liberal arts education to roughly 9000 undergraduate and graduate students. The Jack C. Massey College of Business is AACSB-accredited in business and accounting and has recently completed a full renovation of our college facilities. This newly renovated space includes several state-of-the-art labs, including a behavioral lab for quantitative research. Our department offers a BBA in marketing with the ability for students to focus their degree on any of the following areas: Sales/B2B Marketing, International Marketing, Music Business, or Digital Marketing and Analytics. In addition to our undergraduate curriculum, we also offer concentrations in marketing to our graduate students, whether they are enrolled in our nationally ranked part-time executive/professional MBA program, our one- year accelerated MBA program, or our recently launched HealthCare MBA or joint JD/MBA programs.

Located in Nashville Tennessee, the Jack C. Massey College of Business holds relationships with many Fortune 500 and nationally recognized companies, including Amazon, Google, HCA Healthcare, AT&T, Bridgestone America, Caterpillar Financial Services, Nissan North America, Dollar General, and the Tractor Supply Company. Recently rated as the #1 city with the most economic growth in 2021, Nashville has a thriving music, healthcare, and tech startup scene, along with offering a rich variety of sports and entertainment life. Additionally, Nashville is a multicultural city with strong links to the world. One in eight residents of Nashville is foreign- born and more than 120 different languages are spoken in Metro Nashville schools. The area is home to over 630 arts, culture, and humanities organizations, 1,500 businesses are owned by Hispanic entrepreneurs, and on average, 20-percent of new jobs are attributed to foreign direct investment.
