The Department of Marketing at the CUHK Business School is looking for vibrant scholars to join the group as Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor in quantitative marketing.  

Job Requirements

Applicants should have (i) a PhD in Marketing, Statistics, Economics or other related field; (ii) a strong and active research programme commensurate with the target rank; and (iii) the commitment to teaching excellence, in both undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching will be conducted in English and knowledge of Chinese is not necessary.

Appointments will be made on contract basis for three years initially, which, subject to performance and mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation later. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications will be offered. The comprehensive benefit package provided by the University includes leave, medical care, retirement scheme contributions, plus a contract-end gratuity and housing benefits.

The Department of Marketing has a strong focus on research.  According to UT Dallas ranking 2019-2022, the Department is ranked #19 globally and #1 in Asia on the outputs published in Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science, and Journal of Marketing.  Beyond marketing discipline, our faculty members also publish regularly in other premier business journals.  Members have also served on the editorial boards of numerous leading journals.
