Job Description

The College of Business Department of Marketing, MIS and ENT seeks candidates for a three-year term non-tenure track appointment beginning Fall 2022 at the level of Assistant Professor. 
Teaching core marketing courses at the undergraduate level as well as special topics courses involving community consulting and projects are required. The department also seeks candidates who will contribute to the University’s general education curriculum and its emphasis on using high-impact teaching practices, particularly those affiliated with one (or more) of the institution’s pedagogical initiatives (e.g., Community-based Learning, Critical Thinking, First Year Seminar, Writing Across Curriculum, etc.).  Additionally, the ideal candidate will contribute to the College’s support of interdisciplinary programs of study.   

Candidates interviewing on campus must submit unofficial transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) forwarded directly to the chair of the search committee, prior to an on-campus interview.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an earned doctorate in marketing, or a closely related field.

Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.

Preferred Qualifications

A Marketing generalist is preferred with a wide range of teaching interests.
