The School of Business at Texas Southern University is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing, who is competent in instructing students with an active research agenda. The ideal candidate will possess a terminal degree (PhD or DBA) with an emphasis in Marketing from a regionally accredited university, with a focus on Digital Marketing. This is a 9-month tenure track position with teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Essential Duties Summary

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing.
  • Conduct research that is presentable at professional academic conferences and acceptable for publication in referred academic journals.
  • Active participation in departmental, school and university committees.
  • Service to one’s profession and the surrounding community.
  • Advise and mentor students.

Other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range: $70,769.00 – $92,000.00

EducationPh.D or DBA in Marketing from a regionally accredited university at time of hire. 

A focus on Digital Marketing.
