Job Description:

The College of Saint Rose invites applications and nominations for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Huether School of Business, beginning August 2022. This is a one-year appointment continuing through May 2023. A Visiting Faculty member may be offered an appointment of one or more additional years after successfully teaching one academic year.
Readying students to excel in every business function in any organization, the Huether School of Business offers programs in a wide range of disciplines, from management and accounting to business analytics and marketing. Offering undergraduate degrees and the Master of Business Administration, the Huether School is accredited by ACBSP.

Responsibilities will include teaching 12 credits (4 courses) per semester of undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing from among the following courses:

BUS 253: Principles of Marketing
BUS 370: Consumer Behavior
MBA 635:Marketing Management
Other courses in the Marketing discipline as needed.

Additional responsibilities include the maintenance of office hours, preparation of course syllabi consistent with College and School policies, and engaging within the School regarding curriculum, teaching expectations, assessment, grading and related matters to courses taught.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. from an accredited program in Marketing or a closely related academic field, at the start date.

An ABD from an accredited program in Marketing, or a closely related academic field, will be considered if the degree will be completed within 1 year from start date.

Candidates are required to possess experience in college level teaching, a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, and a record of scholarly work or professional impact in the field of marketing..
